Social innovation in ESF: Lessons learned and Recommendations

Active Solidarity against Poverty
Posted December 2nd, 2008 by Maria NunesThis was a summary of a study presented at Grenoble Forum on Social Experimentation in Europe. It's an analysis, almost a balance about social experiments in Europe in the last few years. It was done specifically for the meeting in Grenoble but the initiative came from the French Presidency and the French High Commission for Active Solidarity against Poverty.

Workshop in Lisbon: Social Innovation in the European Social Fund
Posted September 8th, 2008 by Bev TraynerOn Monday, 27th October there will be a workshop in Lisbon to show off some of the ESF initiatives at in Operational Programmes and to discuss how factors like listening or attention to gender can lead to social innovation and what are the characteristics of people who are doing social innovation?
The other main presentation and discussion area of the workshop is how these innovations are being scaled upward and outward - or mainstreamed.
