Practical orientation on how to implement gender perspective in every phase of an Equal project

This guide is mainly intended as: §         Supporting material furnishing basic knowledge and methodological guidance to help incorporate the principle of equal opportunities for women and men  in occupational integration projects. 

  • A practical guide that is specific yet at the same time open in perspective, applicable to integration projects for a wide range of different geographical areas and target populations.
  • A set of proposals, ideas and examples of good practice tested in EQUAL projects, yet leaving room for creativity. A array of fresh possibilities that provides help in using human resources to their best advantage in all activities, and motivation for expanding, deepening and assimilating gender analysis.

The guide contains two separate parts: 

  • A theory- and context-based approach to the implications of incorporating gender perspective: “Contextual Framework” 
  • Different activity possibilities that can be incorporated in each and every one of the phases of project preparation: “Practical application in the project cycle”
