It's time to bring the facilitators in!

I think we are ready now to invite the facilitators in to help lead our community. The facilitators will be really important bridges, even "interpreters", between the international and national context(s). Let's see what bridges we can manage between us.

We also need the facilitators to help in the final steps of designing and organising this space. From what I've read and heard about the facilitators who have been recruited, we have a great repertoire of experience to draw on.

I think I'll start by inviting the facilitators to complete their profile. There are two places to introduce your information and "story":

  • "My account" (left navigation) /Edit;
  • "My account" /Equal Profile.

I'll also ask them to join the "Facilitators' Community of Practice" in Community (top navigation)/Facilitator's Community of Practice (private). Here we can start with some introductions and a discussion about what we see as the role of facilitator.

An important reason for setting up a cmmunity of practice group for facilitators so that we can keep learning from each others' experience and ongoing reflections, knowledge and uncertainties. We have made the community of practice group for facilitators private so that we can talk and negotiate freely about our hopes, fears and commitments to this bridging leadership role of facilitator.

So, I'll go write the invitation now. I'm really looking forward to this new venture together!
